We stopped in here for dinner one evening after landing at Colorado Springs Airport - on our way to our hotel. It was close to 8:00 pm, there was only one other customer eating in at that time. We both ordered burgers and fries - I went with the Baconator - a double bacon cheeseburger with everything - and a bottle of water. You'd think that they'd be making things to order at a slow time such as this - but it turns out both my burger and fries were just lukewarm. The fries were crispy, but a tad over salted. The burger had a really good flavor. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Now let's try and put out hotter, fresher food!

Found mold in shredded cheese that was on my baked potato. Not sanitary. Save your digestive tract and go somewhere else.

Honestly, I am tempted to give a single star, save for the fact that there are a few options with the potatoes that make this place somewhat less horrific. Nonetheless, I'd not recommend this place to people, as a general rule. The people who work there seem to mean well, at least, however, and there is something to be said for that.

Nice staff here that seem to enjoy working with one another as well as serving their customers. My meal was really well prepared, too, which is surprising for a fast food franchise. What more could one ask for? Okay, no five stars because it's not a five star menu. And I don't have a dog. :-D

I used to stop at this Wendy's relatively frequently for lunch on my way to work because the location was convenient, and the time of day that I'd go there was always a pleasant woman who was friendly and efficient and made me smile and got my order right and I was always satisfied enough considering it's fast food. I don't work there anymore, so it's an odd occassion for me to drive out of my way for a burger, but when I want Wendy's this is still where I end up because of the previous good experiences (there is another closer location to my home.) Today I was feeling like I needed to indulge in a decent burger before I resume going to the gym and will have too much guilt for such things. Same time of day I used to always go before and hoped my nice friendly drive thru lady would be working. No such luck. Pulling up to the drive thru I was the only person there, and I gave my order for a classic cheeseburger combo without mayonnaise, and a Coke. The woman repeated it back to me, and said she'd have my total for me at the second window. I prefer to know my total so I can get it ready for you while I'm waiting for you to acknowledge me at the window, but no big deal, paid with a debit card instead. Extra processing charge for you. Was handed my drink, and told we were just waiting on fresh fries. Almost immediately after that she said "oh, no, I lied, we're not" and then had a conversation with a coworker for a few minutes before returning my debit card or handing me my food. I don't eat in the car if I can help it, so brought my food home to find that my Coke was in fact Diet Coke, which is an insult to any fan of the classic, my fries were not only not fresh, they were cold and limp and over brown and over salted and had hair on them, and my cheeseburger without mayo had so much white gooey disgustingness on it that it was oozing out every side of the burger and I felt sick looking at it. I have a very strong aversion to mayonnaise. I was also not given any napkins with which to attempt to scrape off the offending white gooeyness of doom. And I was given someone elses receipt, despite the lack of other business. So. Maybe an off day. Maybe the woman who made my experiences pleasant quit and the kids working in her place have no work ethic. Maybe I shoulda just cooked myself a burger at home. Either way I need a mulligan on the pre-gym indulgence cause that just left me feeling repulsed and cheated out of my money.

Not totally sure what happened, we like some Wendy's from time to time but this location has failed us twice in a row. Maybe its the location and access but it is never really busy which with fast food sometimes means the food isn't hot and fresh. Chicken nuggets and fries cold and sad after the 3 minute drive home, not really any excuse for it. We will still eat Wendy's just not from this location. I am listing this review after my wife and I microwaved a burrito and both agreed we would have rather ate a microwaved burrito last night than what we got from that Wendy's. Avoid if possible. Maybe try the McDonalds, Arby's or Carl's jr located in the same area.

I know, its a fast food place, but I stopped by there with my husband and dog. We were in the drive through to order some nuggets, and the adorable young gentleman working the window offered my dog a dog treat! Now that's nice, lol!!!
